| Cancellation policy |
Once your relocation request is accepted, a cancellation fee applies at all times and will be charged to your credit card when you cancel, or do not show up for your booking. For cancellations made more than 48hrs ahead of pickup, a cancellation fee of $25 will be applied. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of pick-up time) will be charged $50, and no-shows will be charged $100. Cancellations must be made by logging into "My Transfercar" and selecting "Cancel trip" under the booking. Please be aware that the rental operator might have a separate cancellation fee beyond Transfercar's policy.

$1 per rental day! Minimum 1 day hire with unlimited kilometres. Vehicle make and model at the rental company’s discretion on the day of collection. Please note: All relocations are calculated on a 24 hour turn around. Drop off dates will be calculated from the pickup date selected. Excess liability $4000 INC GST, plus $2,200 for a single vehicle accident (Charged only if an accident occurs). Optional Excess Liability reduction available at the counter to reduce Excess. An imprint of the Driver’s credit card will be taken at the beginning of the rental. The authorisation on the card only freezes $200 as a bond which will be released upon return of the vehicle. One free tank of fuel will be provided, no need to fill up on return. Once booked no extension of rental permissible. Standard terms and conditions of the rental company apply, full details supplied at collection. Must have drivers licence printed in English and or an accompanying International Drivers licence. |

| Debit card policy |
Transfercar will not deduct any money off your credit or debit card for insurance purposes. All transactions will be made directly between the driver and the rental operator at time of pickup or via phone once the request is accepted.
