How do I register?
- After entering your email address in the 'Join Transfercar' text box a confirmation code/activation link will be sent out to your email address. Please enter the code or click on the activation link to activate your Transfercar membership.
- Please allow a few minutes for the confirmation email to appear in your inbox. If you haven’t received a confirmation email you need to check you junk mail settings aren’t blocking our emails. In this case please add admin@transfercar.co.nz to your address book so that all future emails from Transfercar are received in your Inbox.
How come I cannot log in?
- The solution to this could be as simple as checking if your username and password are correct. If you have forgotten you password you can retrieve it by clicking the link forgot password? in the login section.
- You account is not activated yet: Make sure your account is activated using the code/link in the confirmation email sent out to you.
- 3. Cookies are not enabled in your browser
How much does it cost to use the service?
Where do I pick up the Vehicle?
- The exact pick-up details and contact number of the Vehicle Owner is not revealed until Vehicle Owner has accepted your request and paid the applied fee.
- The exact pick-up location is specified by the Vehicle Owner but must be within the area specified in the listing.
How do I top up my account (applies only to Vehicle Owners)?
- Vehicle Owners will not be able to accept a request from a Relocation Driver unless they have credit on their Transfercar account.
- Payments made by credit card online are processed through a secure and encrypted connection.
- Transfercar does not store your personal credit card information on our database.
- They should appear on your Transfercar account immediately. Please email admin@transfercar.co.nz if a payment has been charged to your credit card but has not been credited to your account. Make sure you include the date and time you made the payment and the amount you have tried to credit.
- If you receive an error (such as 'declined' or 'invalid card') please contact your bank. Errors incurred when processing a credit card payment online are declined through the EFTPOS network.
Relocation Driver does not "Show up" – Can I get a Refund?
I got unused credit in my Transfercar account
- If your wish to close down you Transfercar account, Transfercar will refund any unused balance less a $20 manual handling fee that is payable to Transfercar. Please contact admin@transfercar.co.nz.
- Any account less than $20 is not eligible for refund.
- Promotional giveaways of Transfercar credits are not eligible for a refund.
Why is it important to rate the Relocation Driver
- Rating helps towards building creditability to the benefit of both Relocation Driver and Vehicle Owner. A returning Relocation Driver knows the procedure of relocating vehicles and the relocation can take place hassle free for the Vehicle Owner.
